CHEMEON TCP-HF (Hexavalent Free) is recognized as the legacy, clear finish trivalent chromium conversion coating, chemfilm and anodic seal solution. Born from U.S. Naval innovation, CHEMEON’s Dr. Sjon Westre was first to commercialize and scale its production. Replacing the known carcinogen hexavalent chromium with a safer, high-performance alternative, TCP-HF meets MIL-DTL-81706B, MIL-DTL-5541F Type II, TT-C-490 Type VI and ASTM B921 standards while delivering exceptional corrosion resistance and adhesion on light metals. 

CHEMEON’s suite of TCP-HF products retain electrical conductivity and are REACH, RoHS, WEEE and ELV compliant.

 

CHEMEON TCP-HF EPA (Extended Protection Additive) is used in conjunction with TCP-HF in chemical conversion applications. TCP-HF + EPA provides a more robust solution and increasing salt spray resistance for difficult alloys such as 2024.
 
CHEMEON TCP-HF Touch-Up Pen is an industry standard for a clear finish on small part touch ups, MRO and field repair. Easy to use 1.5 oz pen applicator is in stock and ready to ship. For use on aluminum alloys, magnesium, IVD aluminum, zinc and zinc alloys, zinc-nickel and cadmium. CHEMEON Cleaner 4100 Pen, single step cleaner and acid activator, is also available.
 
CHEMEON TCP-NP (No Prep) is a two component product that does not require a deoxidization step.
